Alexander Volkov Height

Alexander Volkov is the MMA version of Ivan Drago (remember the ionic Rocky 4?).

The tall mixed martial artist made a name for himself when he knocked out an extremely confident Fabricio Werdum in a back and forth battle at UFC fight night 127. Afterwards, he came extremely close to a title shot, though he lost the fight against Derrick Lewis in the last moments of the last round in a most unfortunate manner which made sports fans wince all over the world.

Alexander's style is heavy use of his excellent striking, though he has shown a weakness against heavy wrestling as his fight with Curtis Blaydes proved.

Let’s take a look at him with some other MMA fighters.

About his height

Alexander Volkov is extremely tall. Where height is concerned, he is second only to Stefan Struve in the MMA world. He looks much taller than a 6’4" guys like Fabricio Werdum (6'3" really), Greg Hardy (6'3.5") and Derrick Lewis (6'3"). UFC lists him at 6’8” which means he is a legit 6’7” at least (he looks it).

The real height of Alexander Volkov is 6’7” (201 cm)

Weight

Thought closer to seven feet rather than six, Volkov keeps his weight in check, probably because of cardio issues. His fighting weight is 251 lb. (114 kg) and off-season is around 280 lbs (127 kg).
His reach is 81 inches.
