About George S. Patton's Real Height

George S. Patton was tall. On IMDb, his height is listed as 6 feet 1½ inches (187 cm). There must be some good reason behind this listing -- like some military document. Though we weren't able to find one.

Still, George looked tall in his photos. And if he was really almost 6'2" then he was very tall for his era. In 1905, when George would have been fully grown, the average height of men in the US wasn't even 5'8". So by today's equivalent, George would have been 6'4" instead.
