About A.J. Allmendinger's Height
NASCARs are heavy sedans they are very forgiving in height (and weight) requirements, at least in comparison to F1 and Indycar where the driver's height and weight can affect the chassis tub and aero design. NASCAR Drivers have been as short as 5′2″ and as tall as 6′2″.
A.J. Allmendinger just happens to be a short NASCAR driver -- he has no advantage in being short. His official height is 5 feet 6 inches (168 cm), which makes "The Dinger" just as tall as drivers like Kyle Larson (5′6″), and Ryan Blaney (5′7″).
