There used to be a lot of controversy and confusion about Robert Conrad's height back then. Some people thought that he was 6 feet 1 inches tall (he wasn't).
Most people just thought that he was just 5'10" -- as was mentioned in his biography.
But Robert's mother once asked him how did he managed to make himself 5'10" when he has always been 5'8"?
Robert's publicists claimed that he was 5'8" and so did Robert -- most of the time anyway. But once Robert mentioned how he used to wear lifts in his shoes to appear taller and was just 5'7".
From what we have seen of Robert, we think 5'7" could be a good number to describe Robert's height -- he definitely looked so with his stocky body proportions.
