Joe Namath was tall in real life but kind of average where the average height of football quarterbacks (6'2½" nowadays) is concerned.
Joe's official height is 6 feet 2 inches (188 cm), and his weight is 200 lb (91 kg).
We have nothing more to add to this, except that he may be a bit shorter now than he used to be -- since he is now in his eighties and has most probably has lost some height with age.
Height loss happens in old age -- mainly due to the compression and bending of the spinal dics.
