Maybe love is like looking for a place, that doesn’t even exist.
Lee Ji-Eun or simply IU is very big in the world of music in South Korea and is known endearingly as Korea's "little sister".
And little she is -- not that short but very small -- weighing no more than an average 12-year-old American girl. Here is what IU said about the subject:
My bones are thin, so they can appear thin even when I have some meat on my bones, I lost a lot of weight suddenly, and so people have been saying that I look like I am starved and that I look like an elementary school student.
We don't want to sound pedantic but meat is not the right choice of words. IU's true height and weight is a matter of some interest in South Korea. Here is what she said about it on a TV show:

A digital weighing and height scale was then brought out into the studio, and after IU stepped on, her height came out at 5'3.5" or more precisely 161.7 cm, and her weight was roughly 44.9 kg or 99 lb. IU proudly added:
On average, female celebrities weigh about 45kg (99 lb), I want to now say that I too have the figure of a celebrity.
Perhaps female celebrities do weigh 45 kg down in Korea but certainly not in the rest of the world. But we diverge, did you happen to notice that IU was wearing some footwear and clothes during her measurement?
Then it was not a correct measurement, was it? IU definitely would have come out a bit lighter and shorter if she were naked and without footwear -- but we guess you can't do that on national TV -- more is the pity.
