Rupert Grint Height

It's not that I find it hard to meet girls - they do come up and chat me up from time to time. Sometimes I'm interested, I tend not to go for the prettier ones. I prefer the quirkier types.

~ Rupert Grint

Rupert Grint will always be known and loved for being Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film series.

In the books, Ron Weasley was tall and the twins: Fred and George were short and dumpy. In movies, it was the opposite. Fred and George (played by twins James and Oliver Phelps) were nearly 6'3" (190 cm) while Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley is 5'8" (173 cm) or so.

Most of the websites, including Google the Great, do list Rupert Grint's height as 5'8" (some websites even 5'10" lol). From what we have seen of Rupert he seems to have 3 solid inches on a 5'4½" tall Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and seems to be an inch shorter than a 5'8½" tall Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton). By the way, Hermione (Emma Watson) is 5'5".

The height of Rupert Grint is

5'7½" or 171.5 cm

Rupert Grint is Ron Weasley in real life. Here are some of his refreshing quotes:

Rupert Grint on Ron Weasley.

The truth is that Ron is my hero. He's always there for his friends - sometimes belligerently, but there nevertheless. He's also the comic relief in stressful situations; the funny guy with a great one-liner. And no matter how scared he may be, he will put aside his fears to support and protect the people he loves. To me, that represents true courage.

Rupert Grint on being recognized.

People recognize me, call me Ron, and ask me questions. It's really cool and weird as well.

Rupert Grint on being the ginger one.

I'll always be the ginger one from Harry Potter.

Rupert Grint on flying brooms.

Too bad brooms can't really fly. Now if you miss the bus you can't just go in your room and fly to school with a nimbus two thousand!

Rupert Grint on America's weirdness.

I was in America, and someone wanted a photo with me, I put my arm around her and she told me not to touch her.

Rupert Grint on answering "Is Emma Watson actually bossy like Hermione?

I'd tell you, but she'd hurt me.

Rupert Grint on relating with Ron Weasley.

When I read the books, I imagined that the family of Ron Weasley was my family.

Rupert Grint on Jim Carrey.

I like all of Jim Carrey's films. They're really funny.

Rupert Grint on that flying car scene.

My favorite scene in this film was the flying car because that was just wicked.

Rupert Grint on meshing with Ron Weasley.

I was always a big fan of the books and over the years I've become quite attached to Ron and we've meshed into the same person, really.

Rupert Grint on kissing Emma Watson.

I've known Emma Watson since she was 9, we've watched each other grow up, formed this sort of brother/sister bond, and suddenly I'm leaning in to kiss her. Well, it felt completely wrong... but, you know, you try to sink into the character and divorce yourself from it. We ended up laughing hysterically afterward.

Rupert Grint on the Harry Potter books.

I was such a huge fan of Harry Potter books. That's how I got into it. I had never really thought about acting or a career. I just wanted to be Ron, really. It was a very unusual introduction to the industry, and we learned so much. It's been a real education and an evolution. I really, really enjoy this.

Rupert Grint on his lovely siblings.

All my brothers and sisters and friends have really helped me. They make my life normal. I still have arguments with my brother. And the little ones don't really understand. They just treat me like Rupert. Which is brilliant, really.
