Sean Connery Height

"Love may not make the world go round, but I must admit that it makes the ride worthwhile."

~ Sean Connery

Scottish actor, Sir Sean Connery had starred in many amazing movies throughout his long and illustrious career such as Murder on the Orient Express, Highlander, The Untouchables, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Hunt for Red October, etc.

But he will always be known for being the first, and according to many -- the best actor to portray the British secret agent James Bond in seven Bond films.

Where Sean Connery's height is concerned -- he was tall -- very tall actually for someone of his generation.

Wikipedia states that Sean Connery was small in primary school, but he grew rapidly around the age of 12, reaching his full adult height of 6-feet-2 inches or 188 cm tall at the age of 18.

We took a careful look at Sean Connery and compared his height to a number of co-actors throughout the years and it seems to us that Sean Connery was a full 6'2" man just like Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman (though Mr. Jackman seems a bit shorter now) are.

This makes Sir Sean Connery the tallest James Bond actor of all time. Timothy Dalton is also thought to be 6′2″ -- but we think Sean Connery has a better chance to edge him out. Pierce Brosnan is in the third place at 6-feet-1½" inches.

"My view is that to get anywhere in life you have to be anti-social, otherwise you'll end up being devoured. I've never been particularly social, anyway, but if I've ever been rude, fifty percent of it has usually been provoked by other people's attitudes. Though I do admit, like most Celts, I'm moody. It's fine until people try to cheer you up with gems like, 'snap out of it' or 'Come on, now'."
