Eden Hazard Height

"I have always been small, so defenders have always been taller and tougher than me. So that's difficult for me; they foul me sometimes, but there you are - that's what the rules of the game are for."

~ Eden Hazard

Belgian professional footballer, Eden Hazard is known for his creativity, dribbling, and passing on the field of football. He is also known as one of the best players in the world and as one of the greatest players of his generation.

As the above quote from Eden Hazard suggests that he is very aware of his small size.

Though, in a wild fit of creativity, someone decided to list Eden Hazard's official height as 5-feet-9 inches (175 cm) -- which is not that small -- and tell you the truth -- Mr. Hazard doesn't look anywhere close to 5-feet-9 inches tall..

That's why we don't trust official heights anymore.

Exaggeration of stats happens in almost all sports -- real or fantasy -- Football is no different (though its exaggerations are nowhere as wild as WWE).

After carefully looking at Eden Hazard we have come to the conclusion that he is a bit taller than people like Lionel Messi (5'6½") or Luka Modric (5'7" or 170 cm) but a bit shorter than Neymar (5'8" or 173 cm) or Marcelo Vieira Marcelo (5'8¼" or 173.5 cm).

This makes us believe that Mr. Hazard is around the 5'7" mark -- but probably a bit on the northern side.

The real height of Eden Hazard is

5'7¼" or 171 cm

"That's my mentality. Just because somebody has fouled me, there is no reason for me to be nasty to him. I try to respect football as much as possible, and when someone is injured, you put the ball out."
