Khamzat Chimaev is a special mixed martial artist from Sweden. Everyone agrees that he is destined to do great things in the octagon, actually, he is already doing that.
The way he manhandles and ragdolls guys of his own weight is... honestly a little bit scary. He is probably going to end as one of the few double champs UFC ever had.
Khamzat Chimaev is a big guy, especially for the welterweight division, where currents Kamaru Usman rules with an iron fist. Welterweight top dogs like Kamaru Usman and Colby "King of Brazil" Covington are around 5-feet-10 inches tall while Khamzat is listed at an elite 6-feet-2 inches.
If that listing is based on a correct measurement, then Khamzat is big even for the middleweight division. Only the current champ Israel Adesanya and a few other fighters are taller.
Now UFC height listings are not the most accurate ones but we have to give them credit that on average they are more accurate than other sports organizations -- like NBA (don't even mention WWE).
But Khamzat seems to be pretty close to his height listing -- especially from what we have seen of him.
Still, it seems to us that he is a bit too short than a 6-feet-4 inches tall Alexander Gustafsson to be a full 6-feet-2 inches tall guy -- as someone like Luke Rockhold is.
