James Caan Height

"I never saw my dad cry. My son saw me cry. My dad never told me he loved me, and consequently I told Scott I loved him every other minute. The point is, I'll make less mistakes than my dad, my sons hopefully will make less mistakes than me, and their sons will make less mistakes than their dads."

~ James Caan

Great actor, James Caan is known for his work in movies such as Brian's Song, The Gambler, A Bridge Too Far, Misery, Eraser, and of course The Godfather.

James Caan looked tall in The Godfather as Sonny Corleone. He towered over everyone and looked nearly a head taller than Al Pacino.

Now Mr. Pacino is not known to be tall (he was 5'6" in his prime), but still James looked too tall in that movie -- we believe he may have been wearing shoe lifts in order to make the character of Sonny Corleone bigger than thus more fearsome.

James Caan has been described as 5-feet-10 inches tall in the past, and from what we have seen of him in his movies we think he looked that tall in his prime. Though, now in his 80s, he must have lost some height due to age.

The height of James Caan in his prime was

5'10" or 178 cm

"One night I went over to get some dope from some Hollywood tough guy. After I left, my son Scott, who was only fifteen, went over with a baseball bat to kill him. I was laughing out of one eye and crying out of the other. I thought, Who am I kidding?"
