Ron Perlman Height

"I'm thankful to be breathing, on this side of the grass. Whatever comes, comes."

~ Ron Perlman

Fine actor, Ron Perlman is known for his work in movies such as The Name of the Rose, The City of Lost Children, Alien Resurrection, Hellboy and its sequel, Pacific Rim, among many others.

Ron Perlman is a big guy, who gives an even bigger impression. Probably because he gives Andre the Giant vibes, has got a deep voice, and a hulking stance, and just because he is able to project physical size, just like Danny Trejo.

But you would be surprised to learn that just like Danny Trejo, Ron is actually not that tall (though not that short either).

Watching him in Hellboy, we would have pegged Ron's height at 6-feet-4 inches at least (he apparently wore special shoes for that movie), but in reality, he is a bit shorter -- still above average though.

Anyway, Ron once mentioned his height as only 6-feet-1 inches. After taking a careful look at him and comparing his height to that of people like Jude Law (5'10¼"), Sigourney Weaver (5'11"), Charlie Hunnam (6"), we think he may a bit shorter than that in his prime.

Though now in his 70s, it seems Ron has lost some height with age. He also looks shorter probably because he has a really bad posture nowadays (classic hunched upper back).

Interestingly, Ron Perlman's children are very tall, his daughter Blake Perlman looks close to the six feet mark herself, and son Brandon Avery Perlman looks far above the mark.

The height of Ron Perlman is

5'11" or 184 cm

Height in prime was 6'½"

"I've always felt there were aspects of me that were monstrous, and you can either hide from it or confront it, embrace it and understand that those are aspects that make you unique and define you and motivate you. You can either overwhelm or overcompensate for them -- but they truly define you as a human being...So that life became a question of either dealing with this monstrousness in one way or another...One finds a way to understand and make friends with that monster and understand that that's the very thing that makes you who you are. That's your emotional and spiritual fingerprint."
