Paul McCartney Height

"I still believe that love is all you need. I don't know a better message than that."

~ Paul McCartney

Great singer and songwriter Paul McCartney is regarded as one of the most successful composers and performers of all time -- due in no small part to being the co-lead vocalist, co-songwriter, and bassist for the Beatles.

Who was taller? Was it John Lennon or Paul McCartney? Fans still want the answer to this question even after more than 50 years of the disbandment of The Beatles.

Well, one thing is clear if Paul was the taller one -- it was not by much -- and even George Harrison was very close to their height. There was no question about who the shortest of the group was though.

Paul McCartney was speculated to be anywhere from 5'9" to 6" tall throughout his long and illustrious career. After carefully taking a look at him and comparing his height to that of the other band members, we think Paul was somewhere between 5'10" and 5'11".

Though now close to touching his eighties, Mr. McCartney could be expected to lose some height due to age -- but admittedly he is holding up pretty well.

The real height of Paul McCartney is

5'9½" or 176 cm

Height in his prime was 5'10½"
