About Jack Black's Real Height
Ben Stiller Jack Black has got a funny height -- well no surprise about that -- he is a funny man. People for some reason think that Mr. Black is like 5'4" tall -- or 5'5" at best. It must have come from his movies and his portly appearance. In the movie Orange County, Ben Stiller played a cop who described Mr. Black's character as 5'5". In the movie Nacho Libre, in one scene they gave stats about the wrestlers' weight and height, Jack's height was listed as 5'5" and weight 208 lb (94 kg).
But Jack Black himself once claimed to be 5'7" tall. In the documentary about Peter Jackson´s King Kong, called "The production Diaries of King Kong", Jack Black was angry because he looked at a website which had listed him as 5'4''. He said, "I'm not 5'4', I'm 5'7!'' He then stode next to Andy Serkis comapred their heights.
Then Jack said, "We're about the same height right? Can you belive that they listed me as 5'4''. Jack looked slightly shorter than Mr. Serkis, and we think that Mr. Serkis is around 5'7½" tall. After looking carefully at Jack Black and comparing him to some other celebrities, we think that he is somewhere between his movie height of 5'5" and claimed height of 5'7" -- 5'6" might be the best number to describe his height -- just as tall as Ben Stiller.
