Kit Harington Height ~ How Tall is He Really?

"The best people to have power are the ones who don't want it."

~ Kit Harington

Kit Harington was an ideal actor for the role of Jon Snow (if only a bit emo - that's our opinion btw). He matches the A Song of Ice and Fire books' description of Jon Snow just so well - down to even the height.

Jon Snow in the books is not a tall man (boy?). He was dwarfed by so many other characters all the time (though we are sure he will not be dwarfed by even Sansa Stark once they cozy up in the books). Likewise, Kit Harington is not the tallest man you would ever chance to meet on the streets.

We looked him up carefully and compared him to some celebrities like Emila Clark (5'2"), Lena Heady (5'5"), his own wife Rose Leslie (5'4.5") and now think that he looks around the 5'7" mark - around the same height as other Game of Thrones legends like Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy) and Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton).

The real height of Kit Harington is

5'7" or 170 cm

"My parents brought us up in a very clever way, which was that they saw what we were interested in naturally, and then they encouraged whatever that may be. When I started sharing a keen interest in drama and the theater, instead of steering me away from it, they encouraged me to see plays and think about drama school."
