Who doesn’t know Mark Henry – the world’s strongest man. He is one of the most famous wrestlers in the history of WWE, and not without a reason. It was not just usual WWE hype, Mark was indeed one of the strongest man in world for years. Well, he still is one of the strongest man the the world. Height

Mark Henry is a very big fellow. He has been described from 6’3″ to 6’2″ throughout his career. We compared his height to many other pro wrestlers like John Cena, Brock Lesnar and Batista. He looks slightly taller than Cena, around the same height as Brock Lesnar and a bit taller than Batista. we have to the admit that he is indeed 6’2″ or 188 cm.

Build

He may be only 6’2″ (as if that is small!) but trust us, he looks much larger in real life. He has the build of a person at least 6’6″. After all, Mark still is one of the strongest person in the world, which is clear by the way he looks – stocky as hell! His neck is 22 inches, Chest around 66, Biceps 22 and shoulders 30.5 inches. His peak weight was around 400 lbs but now is around 360 lbs (160 kg), with his body fat at around 23% – it is interesting how little body fat he has for his size.

Mini Biography

Mark henry comes from a family of strong people. One of his uncle was 6’7″ and weighed 500 lbs — he was also one of the strongest man in the state (Texas). One of Henry’s cousin is the football player Kevin Henry, who is around 6’4″.

As a child, Mark was huge fan of WWF, and Andre the Giant was his favorite wrestler. He was big as Andre too, by the time he was in fourth grade he was 5’5″ and weighed 220 lbs, talk about like attracts like. His mother bought him a set of weights and he never looked back.

At high-school, a professor saw his potential and persuaded him to go to Austin to train in weightlifting. Soon, Mark had managed to qualify for the weightlifting competition at the 1992 Summer Olympics, where he finished tenth in the Super- Heavyweight class and the rest was history. By the end of his weight lifting career, he was won U.S. National Weightlifting Championships for times and has become the only human in history to have squatted more than 900 lbs without a squat suit and dead-lifted more than 900 lbs raw in one and the same power-lifting meet.

After his weightlifting career was over, at the age of 24 around 1996, Mark made his debut in WWF, but it was not until 1998 that he got famous. His long and illustrious career in WWE involves feuds and fights with nearly every major WWE star – from fellow big men Kane, Undertaker, Big Show, Braun Strowman to stars like The Rock, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Batista and Goldberg.

In 2018, Mark was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Henry lives in Texas with his wife Jana and son Jacob, and daughter Joanna, drives his Hummer and sometimes plays with his pet ferret, Pipe.
